Eva Ramos

Eva Ramos received her bachelor’s degree in mathematics from the University of Illinois. Nursing was not Eva’s first career choice. However, when her niece was hospitalized for 3 months due to birth complications, she realized the critical need for nurses. Eva believes the only reason her niece is out of the hospital is because of the tenacious efforts of these nurses. Discovering her true passion and finding other professionals that would encourage her was not easy, until Eva attended a meeting at a local National Association of Hispanic Nurses (NAHN) chapter
