Pat Rojas
Patricia Rojas is from New York and attends Phillips School of Nursing at Mount Sinai Beth Israel. Ever since she was in high school, she wanted to pursue a career in science. But, after studying to become a researcher, she learned that she didn’t want to be behind the scenes. Patricia decided to pursue a career in nursing because she wanted to be around people and interact with her patients. As a compassionate and understanding nurse, Patricia cares for her patients’ well being and health with an understanding that she needs to provide them the best care. The nursing field has allowed her to grow as a leader and enable her to serve her community. She is actively involved with the National Association of Hispanic Nurses’ (NAHN) New York chapter. Through her volunteer work, she educates her patients about the Affordable Care Act and empowers them to seek out all their health care options.
