Rose Lopez
Rose Lopez is from Phoenix, Arizona and recently graduated from Northern Arizona University. For the past two years, she has worked as a telemetry nurse, monitoring patients’ vital signs. She describes going through nursing school as one of the toughest things she has ever done. Finding a balance between work and personal life was the most difficult thing for her during nursing school but it was well worth it. Rose joined the National Association of Hispanic Nurses (NAHN) because the organization promotes nursing and health education - her two passions - in Hispanic communities. She always comes home with a smile on her face because she knows she is making a difference in someone's life.
