Tiffany Acosta
Tiffany Acosta wanted a career where she could directly have a positive affect in people’s lives. She is a recent graduate from New York University with a second degree in nursing. So far her experience has been challenging, exciting and rewarding. When she was in college there was a lot of trial and error to figure out how best to learn. She credits study groups and her family for her success. Her parents always told her not to doubt herself and “keep going.” Study groups helped her see how others study and keep up with the demands of school work.
Her life “in the books” came to an end when she learned that she had passed her NCLEX, the exam to receive her license to be a Registered Nurse. Tiffany encourages others to learn about nursing because it is a rewarding career that enables one to work directly with the community to make a difference.
